Installation background

The total number of domestic and international passengers at Aomori Airport in 2019 was 1.19 million, and the number of passengers in 2023 is 1.16 million, which is 97% compared to 2019 and has almost recovered to pre-coronavirus levels. (*2). In particular, on domestic flights, the number of passengers exceeded the FY2019 result (1,129,330 passengers) by approximately 25,000 (2.2%), reflecting an increase in the number of inbound passengers and Japanese tourists from other prefectures. seems to be the cause. Additionally, this year, regular flights between Aomori and Seoul (Incheon) will resume on January 20th, and we can expect an increase in the number of passengers on international flights.
Since the number of overseas travelers from Japan, domestic users, and inbound foreign tourists is expected to increase further in the future, we have decided to handle Wi-Fi rental, which is in high demand as an incidental product for travel.
WiFiBOX can be used both domestically and internationally, and is available in 6 languages including Korean, so it can meet the needs of all customers, and is the only Wi-Fi rental service provided at Aomori Airport. I decided to install it. In the future, we aim to establish two locations in Aomori City, and aim to further improve convenience so that Aomori residents can also use them.
