Installation background

Yonago Kitaro Airport will have approximately 400,000 passengers in fiscal 2022, which is 200.5% compared to fiscal 2021 and has recovered to approximately 60% of its pre-coronavirus level. As flights to Seoul resumed on October 25, 2023 for the first time in about four years, the number of inbound foreign tourists is expected to increase as well as for domestic travel.
In addition, Yonago Kitaro Airport is located approximately 15 minutes by car from Sakaiminato, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tottori Prefecture, as well as Yonago city center and Kaike Onsen, one of the representative hot spring resorts in the San'in region. It's about 30 minutes away. There is also a shuttle bus service to Yonago Station and Matsue Station in Shimane Prefecture, making it a highly convenient airport for sightseeing and returning home.
Not only domestic tourism, homecoming, business, and gigantic shortages, overseas travelers and business travelers from Japan, and travelers traveling overseas via Haneda Airport, but also inbound foreign travel using Seoul flights. As the number of customers is expected to increase, we decided to install WiFi BOX to meet the needs of users.
