Service to begin July 19 at Haneda Airport Terminal 2

We are pleased to announce the installation of a new self-contained Wi-Fi rental service, "WiFiBOX," which allows customers to easily rent a mobile Wi-Fi router using a contactless connection, in the international departure lobby on the 3rd floor of Terminal 2 at Haneda Airport, starting at 7:00 on July 19, 2023 (Wednesday).
This is the third installation at Haneda Airport, following the installation on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Terminal 3. This means that the WiFiBOX service is now available to international travelers from Japan using Terminal 2 as well as to international visitors to Japan.

This brings the total number of WiFiBOXes installed to 28 locations at 23 facilities. We will continue to actively install WiFi boxes at airports, train stations, and commercial facilities in Japan to further improve customer convenience.

At Haneda Airport, we have been providing services at our counters in the departure and arrival lobbies of Terminal 3 since the release of WiFiBOX on April 1, 2022. Since the relaxation of waterfront measures and the increase in the number of foreign inbound travelers in particular, these locations have become the top locations among WiFiBOX installation locations in terms of the number of units used each month.
Haneda Airport Terminal 2 was put into service on March 29, 2020 to strengthen connecting functions with domestic flights and increase international flights, and was closed on April 11, 2020 following the Corona disaster, but has now decided to reopen due to a rapid recovery in passenger traffic. First, ANA will operate from a total of 5 flights, but as the number of routes operated from Terminal 2 will be expanded in the future, the number of inbound foreign travelers as well as overseas travelers and business travelers from Japan, including tourists, is expected to increase, so in order to meet the needs of users We have decided to install WiFi boxes.
