Installed at Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit JR Express Bus Terminal

We are pleased to announce that we have started offering a self-service Wi-Fi rental service called "WiFiBOX" at the ticket office of Tokyo Station JR Expressway Bus Terminal. In addition to being used by travelers heading to Narita Airport, the bus terminal is also experiencing increasing demand from domestic travelers, including an increase in the use of night buses due to rising accommodation costs. With this installation, we will provide travelers with an easy and convenient communication environment.

Installation background

The "Tokyo Station JR Expressway Bus Terminal" ticket office that will be set up this time is located just outside the Yaesu South Exit of Tokyo Station, making it easy to connect with the Shinkansen and conventional lines, and it is a place where many people heading overseas can be seen boarding the bus to Narita Airport. By renting a ``WiFiBOX'' in advance in the city, you can save yourself the trouble of lining up at the Wi-Fi rental counter at the airport or carrying large luggage, and provide an environment that allows you to depart easily in ``Taipa.''

In addition, demand for night buses, which are attractive for their effective use of time and low fares, is currently increasing due to the soaring cost of hotels and the spread of ``Oshikatsu'' (travelling around the country), and there are an increasing number of cases in which these buses are used as ``mobile hotels.'' By renting a ``WiFiBOX'' when boarding a night bus, you will be able to interact with your PC or tablet on your business trip, or enjoy your favorite videos while traveling without having to worry about speed limits, making your trip even more comfortable and easier. We will continue to work to further expand the number of installation locations so that we can provide easy and convenient communication services not only overseas but also within Japan.
