The demand is not only from tourists visiting Japan! Find domestic uses and strengthen installation in cities

When the service starts in 2022, “WiFiBOX” will only be installed at 14 major airports. It was mainly used only by travelers from Japan to overseas and business users. From 2024, we will identify domestic demand such as the shortage of gigabytes due to the use of large-capacity data communications by foreign visitors to Japan, domestic business and sightseeing, and the use of large-capacity data communications when going out. Comments from CEO Masayasu Tamura on achieving 47 prefectures

We are very happy that we have achieved our goal of installing "WiFiBOX" in 47 prefectures nationwide. "WiFiBOX" was originally developed with the aim of allowing overseas travelers traveling from Japan to overseas and from overseas to Japan to use a comfortable communication environment more easily and stress-free. As we continue to expand installations, we are increasingly hearing from people in various regions requesting a service that can suddenly or temporarily secure a high-capacity and safe communications environment, not only when traveling overseas but also in a variety of everyday situations. I did. In order to meet these needs, we have been working to improve the convenience of use with the aim of installing the service in 47 prefectures.
In order to realize our corporate philosophy, "We embrace a venture spirit and provide new value to the world," we will continue to work to expand services that provide convenience and peace of mind, and grow together with local communities. By continuing to do so, we hope to provide even more value to everyone's lives.
