Self-service Wi-Fi rental "WiFiBOX", which allows you to easily rent a mobile Wi-Fi router without contact, is available at the front gate and north gate (each service center) of Kyushu's largest leisure facility "Greenland" operated by Greenland Resort Co., Ltd. We would like to inform you that the service will be installed at 10:00 on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
This is the first time that "WiFiBOX" has been installed at a leisure park, and it will be available to all visitors, including domestic tourists visiting Greenland and the increasing number of foreign tourists visiting Japan.
Including this time, "WiFiBOX" will be installed at 234 facilities and 244 locations nationwide.

Installation background
Greenland, located in Arao City, Kumamoto Prefecture, is located within the large resort ``Greenland Resort'' that attracts approximately 3 million visitors annually, and is the largest leisure park in Kyushu with a site area of approximately 550,000 square meters. Popular attractions include the 105m tall Ferris wheel, roller coasters, and Kyushu's first hanging coaster, making it the largest amusement park in Japan in terms of attractions, with over 70 types of attractions. The facility has been receiving requests for Wi-Fi service from visitors for some time, and last year it introduced a digital park map that allows users to check attraction waiting times, ensuring stable communication throughout the vast park. You can now install our "WiFiBOX" that can realize the environment. Furthermore, as the number of foreign visitors to Japan is expected to increase due to inbound demand, we will provide a smooth communication environment for all travelers by using "WiFiBOX," which supports six languages including Korean. We decided to start this service because it matches our company's policy.
