Anti-bacterial and anti-viral treatment on all Wi-Fi router terminals, box itself, and airport counters

Last update: October 2, 2023

WiFiBOX, an unprecedented overseas Wi-Fi rental service that won the 2022 Good Design Award

(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuji Yoshitake), a global provider of cross-border mobile communication solutions, has applied anti-bacterial and anti-viral treatment to all Wi-Fi router terminals and box units in its "WiFiBOX," which is now being installed mainly at major airports in Japan, as well as to its counters at Narita and Haneda airports. The Company has also applied antibacterial and antiviral treatment to its counters at Narita and Haneda airports.

Since the launch of the service in April 2022, we have taken various measures against infectious diseases, including periodic alcohol sterilization of returned Wi-Fi router terminals and boxes, and installation of masks and partitions for employees at manned counters at the airport. In order to ensure that our customers can use our services with peace of mind, we have applied antibacterial and antiviral treatments using "Health Bright" and "PROTECTON® Variax® Spray" to Wi-Fi router terminals, all boxes, and our counters at Narita and Haneda airports. For the counters, we have applied this treatment to all areas that customers and staff touch, such as tables, ballpoint pens, and tablet terminals. As a global solutions company with "security," "convenience," and "fun" as our core values, we will continue to provide services with customer satisfaction as our top priority.

HealthBrite (SIAA antibacterial and antiviral certified)

Koyu Bussan Corporation
Official website: https://www.koyou-bussan.co.jp/hbe/
Six effects can be expected over approximately five years: antibacterial, antiviral, VOC decomposition, deodorant, antifungal, and antifouling. A sticker is attached to the treated terminal.
(Note 1) Various certificates have been obtained from third-party organizations for each effect.
(Note 2) This is not a verification experiment in an actual usage space. Not all viruses, bacteria, etc. can be effectively treated.

In the case of handsets without the sticker, all of them are SIAA-certified handsets with antimicrobial resin coating. (This is achieved by kneading antimicrobial material into the resin covering the main body, SIAA certification No.: JP0123364X0001B)
Please use with peace of mind, as it inhibits the growth of bacteria and maintains the surface of the main body in a hygienic condition.
